June First Severe Weather Research was a project that I created in 2018. From a young age, I've had a passion for severe weather, and in particular tornadoes. On June 1st, 2011, my hometown was hit by an EF-3 tornado, that left a 39 mile path of destruction and 3 people dead. It was the most influential day in my life. Tornadoes are the most unpredictable phenomenon in nature, and is one of the most destructive. The mission of June First is to use engineering methods to study severe weather. Thanks for watching. My name is Scott and when I turned 50 during the COVID lockdown I had this great idea to buy a 1976 travel trailer and restore it. It was a bad idea. A really bad idea. The trailer was a disaster but the experience was life changing. I ended up completely dismantling the trailer to literally a pile of scrap. That was rock bottom. And when you hit bottom there is nowhere to go but up. I decided I would build my own trailer from scratch. With no trailer building experience what so ever. And that's what I've done. Eddie, as my trailer has affectionately been named, is alive and well. Feel free to follow along on the build and join us on our adventures. It just may inspire you to make a bad decision of your own :)

Red Toolhouse Lumber Company and Farm is a small family effort located in Southern West Virginia. We are tucked away on 100 rural acres. At one time the property was a fully functional farm with pasture land and large gardens nestled on the mountain benches. The McClung family consists of my wife Kelly, our two boys, and myself (Troy). We are excited to be a part of God’s creation and seek everyday to honor him and to live in the center of his will, whatever that may be. We feel blessed to have been placed in stewardship of this land, his creation, and look forward to making it into something better than we found it.
