Over the past 15 years, my career has evolved across code, design, and entrepreneurship. I started as a code wrangler before transitioning into UX design, eventually stepping into leadership and launching my own freelance practice. That practice grew into a 10-person design agency, giving me hands-on experience hiring, managing, and scaling a service business. Wanting to build products and adjacent businesses alongside agency work, I launched an online design school that has now taught over 15,000 designers from companies like Google, Meta, and Disney. Along the way, I also acquired micro-businesses like Choppity and DesignerNews. Today, I focus on building and scaling a portfolio of businesses. I’m using this space to document the journey in real time - sharing the playbooks, hard lessons, and wins along the way.
