Created in July 2020, fayefilms is a Youtube channel that produces videos about academics, effective study tips, productivity and occasionally art. As a Malaysian teen and student, Faye Ng found it difficult to find local role models whom she can learn from and relate to. Most Youtubers providing study tips in Malaysia are either much older or create content in other languages besides English. Inspired by ‘Studytubers’ and ‘Studygrammers’ who go to the most prestigious universities in the UK and US, Faye decided to step up and be a creator too.
