The world usually is not what we're told it is — that's why I travel. I'm David, and I go across the globe to get to know places beyond the headlines, stereotypes, and assumptions. From overlooked countries to stories closer to home, these videos are honest, first-hand journeys to show what places are really like on the ground. I built this channel to show what it’s actually like to travel as a regular guy. I often travel with my partner, Rasa, and we focus on experiencing real cultural encounters, figuring out local transit, and seeing what things cost when keeping the budget down. Drawing on 16+ years of travel experience and 5 years in the travel industry, I combine down-to-earth documentary storytelling with practical travel insight.
