My name is April Lauren, I share parts of my story and all the things that help me live each day a little brighter here on my YouTube channel Wake Up Bright. Summer of 2020 my weight reached 352.8. I felt miserable and full of fear. I realized I couldn't keep crash dieting and failing... I decided to figure out what my body needed and with patience, kindness and determination, I began. I lost a little over 100lbs before we made our fourth military move in five years to Hawaii. I fell into a depression and regained a good bit of that back, but unlike in the past... I reached out for help. After treating my depression, my doctor and I decided I should look into weight loss surgery. Now I'm also sharing my post surgery progress!
